The mountain is accessed via a belt conveyor moving walkway instead of a conventional ski lift, which sets it apart as an unusual setup in Japan's ski landscape. On clear days, riders can take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the South Alps and Mt Fuji.
The area operates a short sledging zone as well, making it more of a family destination than a serious riding spot.
