Hiruzen Kids Snow Park

Hiruzen Kids Snow Park transformed from a small ski area into a dedicated kids' snow park in 2016, positioning itself as one of the largest facilities of its kind in western Japan. The terrain is almost entirely beginner-friendly, with a snow escalator handling vertical rather than traditional lifts. The focus here is on playing in the snow and building confidence on gentle slopes, not on riding varied terrain or chasing vertical.

The park operates weekends and holidays only, from 9:00am to 4:00pm, with last entry at 3:00pm. It sits in Maniwa City in Okayama Prefecture, where two other small ski areas—Hiruzen Bear Valley and Tsuguro Kogen—also operate. If you're looking for a place to introduce young riders to snow or want mellow, low-consequence terrain, this works. If you're seeking actual ski runs or varied pitch, look elsewhere.
